Currently comparing E250 Coupe and A5 Coupe. Have up to £30K so likely to be 2009/10. The only 2010 E250s under £30K are all manuals which I assume is the reason why. Is the manual that bad or just not what Merc owners want? Anything else I need to look out for? Would it be worth looking at an older E350? Is the Satnav any good? Any options that are must have?
The market really wants an auto. The last manual Merc I drove was a w211 E200 CDI and I was actually very impressed.
The E350 CDI is very impressive and the kit levels are that bit higher. Were it me, I would seek out an older E350 over a newer E250. On all of them you get everything you need as standard. Only you know what options you might wish to have. If you're concerned about resale, then you will want some form of sat nav, which is optional.
