Erm? Am I missing something?

When did water fights become illegal?

I had loads of water fights when I was a child. We even had a little one this year, on an old car rally.

Should I expect to find myself on Interpol's most wanted list? confused

Can't really defend him, but could be explained by being hit in the face by high pressure drink and swinging at whoever's soaking you. But, why go to a field full of people having a water fight and not expect a soaking.

As for the OP. I hope there's more to the story, otherwise I should be in jail too. Only last week was I involved in multiple waterfights, including an ambush and subsequent drive-by (the drivers knew, the passengers didn't) It was awesome!

I thought the same at first.

But if I was in my favourite white t shirt (I do actually have one), I would not walk into or near a big water fight.

No, he went in looking for a fight.

Would you pour tizer over a complete stranger in any situation (unless they were on fire), especially if the stranger looks as if he would probably stab you to death for bus fair?

If a bloke did the pouring, everyone on here would agree he deserved a punch.

So what is the crime that he is alleged to have committed?

I know the actual charge is "encouraging or assisting in the commission of an offence" but what is that offence?

See OP?

Did he not chase and thump a girl lifting her off her feet with the punch?

So assault? ABH?

Perhaps I got the wrong 'man' charged here...

Yeah its a different story. I believe they are stopping people organising these water fights because they errupt into fist fights most of the time.
