The security were too busy trying to stop anyone going onto the startline,Regardless of having the correct pass or being next to run.lol. We did hear about this too and all kept alook out for each other. Didnt see you all weekend mate,we were up till late as usual(when you usually appear lol)

Yep we had "visitors" on the sunday when we ran the quarter finals
Got back to find cash missing from everyones wallets that were left in the truck but thankfully cards had been left & also a lap top was stolen.

Not good at all but it could have been worse .....

Never had any problems when I was there, but I do agree with what you said about the strat line marshalls.
I remember them being a little over zellous to say the least just to get to the fire up area, let alone on the line when the car was to run.
I hope anyone who had anything taken from the pit area reported it, so the people running the show know and can at least act on the problem in future.
Id still go if I was there Cliff, Miss the racing big time, Just lucky for me that I can see the coverage on the speedgroup site....

Seem to remember a Quad being taken from a pit at the Thunderball too this year. As the events get more and more popular I suppose so does the number of undesirables attending.

They did put out a PA message at Hockenheim warning everybody to make sure everything is secure during the night show so they obviously know there is a problem with theft.
