Boss + Computer=Virus.....dow!

So the boss has managed to get a virus on his system.

It keep changing the homepage and redirects you off to search sites and porn sites etc.....I'm sure i've had it before and it's edited some file on the system to do these redirects.

Anybody know what that file is?

Download Ad Aware and Spybot Search and Destory and execute them both on the Boss' machine.

That will sort it.

I'd agree with that. Though technically it's spyware, not a virus, and therefore different software to combat (as above). Hope it works.

Thanks for your help guys. In the end it was so difficult to do anything because of constant pop up's (some of which would crash the system), it was easier to format and start again. (on the plus side it now runs much quicker!....which should stop him b'hitching all the time.)
