Hi all,
Would anyone out there be able to tell me
what model the brake master cylinder for my
Tasmin 280i '82 car would be.
It's taking me a bit longer than anticipated to
bring it out of storage from the winter and
now I need one of the above.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
Michael Brown.

TVR have used about seven different versions... so it is important that you match them up and inparticular pay close attention to the bolt holes that mate with the servo and the number of brake pipes.

Usual suspects include TR7, Ford Cortina. There should be a girling number that you can use to cross reference.

When my master cylinder needed replacing, I had to post it to Wedge Automotive and they sent me the correct one back very quickly. It gives you an option and gets you the correct item in 2-3 days.

Hope this helps

Thanks.
I ordered one from Wedge Automotive and it has arrived, installed and is performing the required function. i.e. keeping me between the hedges.

Regards & thanks,
Michael.
