Hi. Just changed front tyres and noticed heavier wear on inside edge than centre/outside. I guess this is the tracking needs adjusting, so how do I adjust this, how do I know when it's right and do I need any special equipment?

Thanks. Andy

Easiest just to take it to your local tyre fitters and get them to set it with a total toe in of 2mm.

Better still would be to take it to a specialist and have the full geometry set with a laser alignment rig. The figures you require are in the other recent thread.

Thanks Steve, I did wonder if the other topic was what I needed, but I'm lagging well behind the pack with my technical knowledge! I'll do the tyre fitter route for now and then look at doing a full geometry set up before next season, as this season is rapidly disappearing. Does anyone know a specialist in the East Midlands (ideally Nottingham) who could do a full set up?

Cheers. Andy

Well there is always the factory or Steve Smith, both in Hinckley, not to far away.
