It's out next month and I'm very much looking forward to it.
Biggest news so far - safety cars!

(Apologies if there's already a thread - I went back to June and couldn't fine one, and search ain't working.)

Whilst the safety car is good news I wonder how they're going to implement it?.

I'm guessing you'll be able to control your car to a certain degree but not entirely. I know it's only allowed for races that are 20% or over in distance.

It could either be a brilliant addition or just a gimmicky one that doesn't really work.

Hopefully we'll get some gameplay videos from Gamescom and a bit more information.

Been playing the F1 2010 just lately. Got nearly half way through a season and when I went back to it the other day it couldn't load the saved data. just saying saved data is corrupted and can't load. This some what annoyed one and to be honest I don't want to start all over again because it takes too long.

has anyone else had this same problem?

Yes, it's well documented as an issue. Although I think it was addressed during the update patch they issued a few months ago, I may be wrong though.

just annoying. I can't be arsed to play it now. will wait for the new game to start again.

Well every other game I've played that has had safety cars has let you control your car as usual leaving it up to you to maintain position, correct speed etc. If you don't you get a penalty. I would have thought (and would prefer) that this will be the same.
