Might sound a bit stupid - but how do you change the headlight bulb on a Chimaera? Do you have to take the headlight out from the front? I don't want to start pulling at things if I don't have to.

Also - does anyone know where you can get an upgrade to PAS?

Cheers

Lightbulb access..... Its in the wheel arch.

Jack the front up, and take the relavent (Left or Right) front wheel off.

Theres a panel with 3 screws at the front of the arch, remove and hey presto!

On PAS, I believe that the TVR PAS rack was TVR specific so rare as hens teeth. However do a search, there was a post on here about an electric PAS kit.

Racing Green do an electric power steering conversion, not cheap though. http://www.thetvrshop.com/TVR/Parts_details/TVR%20...

They dont all have this access panel. If yours doesnt have one then its in thru the front grill and scraped arms and knuckles im afraid......but it can be done!

To be clear: Access through the front "GRILL" (Dependant upon model/age) not the headlamp/fairing assembly.

Here are some photos I took for someone else a good while ago.
If you're dextrous and supple enough, you may not need to remove the wheeel, just jack the car up

No just a cheap black £1 low mod which will seal but come off easily..I supported the centre section with a piece of plastic (old number plate} fixed on with two self tappers .Took me around 1 hour to do the total job including fitting the new bulbs and cleaning the connections..
