So there I was today eating my boxed salad lovingly prepared by my other half as she does each day - she's amazing btw..when I discovered.....

Rocket leaf.

who eats that stuff?

its bitter and foul and despite eating it with other salad type arrangements, nothing but nothing can diguise the sour earth-like flavour...blergh...

but...Rocket is joined in the devils family tree by the following equally unpalletable stuffs....

Brazil nuts....just why? stay in brazil please. do not cross the atlantic, do not pass go and do not enter my bag of trail mix nuts and seeds. you have no place there.

Rocket = spawn of the Devil
Brazil nuts = grandson of the devil

the father of the devil....???

Peanut Butter. please. just don't come anywhere near me with that! fill the walls with it, spread it on teh roads, let the dog eat it (he loves it btw - stupid mutt) but leave me the feck alone.

please feel free to avail your family tree of devil foods...

Peanut butter is awesome. English people are strange in that they feel that it is the sandwich filling, whereas it should simply be the base layer, tempting more layers on board.

Costco - Peanut butter filled pretzels. Heaven in a belt bustingly high calorie tub lick

Pot Noodles are the contents of the devils underpants, strained through a filled nappy.

Green salad. Tastes of nothing or tastes of dressing. Might as well just take the dressing.

Coffee. Tastes like roasted mud. If I need milk and sugar to make a drink palatable, why bother?

Sprouts. Tastes like farts.

I'll eat or drink pretty much anything else.

Avacado; nasty combination of a creamy/slimy texture and doesn't taste great either.

Clotted cream; just why?

Anything else is fine by me.

I don't 'get' avocado either. But properly guacamole-d, it becomes utterly scrumptious.

Agreed completely with this. Marmite added is something wonderful. Peanut butter and creme fraiche pasta. I should really make it more often.

I can safely say that there isn't any kind of food that I won't eat or won't try if I've never had it, so the idea that people find some foods disgusting is strange to me.

I dislike bananas intensely. I also dislike spagetti hoops. I am no a fan of tomato soup either.

Apart from that I'll eat most things.

Olives certainly have nothing redeeming about them. I don't understand the hype and fancy that it's pure pretension.

Olives/olive oil. The only food I have to run from the smell of.

Tomatoes - I like tomato-based products but the fruits themselves are just weird.

Beetroot.
Red onion.
Cheese omelette, which for some reason makes me ill.
Most other food is fine.

Celery, only thing worse than the taste is the smell. Even after repeated washing of hands it just lingers.

Quite enjoy rocket and peanut butter, never had them together though. thumbup

Gosh, you're all wrong I'm afraid (except the avocado, I'm with you on that one)/

The daddy of devil foods is the banana. It's even shaped like devil horns.

Utterly repulsive.

Also pate - even thinking about it is turning my stomach.
