Race Team Crew Required
Discussion
We are an established drag race team, returning after a few years of watching the telly and getting bored – As usual we have no money but plenty of enthusiasm and should have a competitive car (we have done it before so we know what it takes). We need 2 more crew members to complete the team for the 2011/12 season - experience is not essential – but must have a mechanical aptitude – unless you want to be the cook! – we can train you – the absolute essential qualities are reliability, availability, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Unfortunately there’s no pay and plenty of work but you won't go hungry or dry and you will be part of a 3500+ bhp, 250+ mph race team.
We are looking for crew in the West/South Yorkshire area.
Have a look at our website www.laracing.co.uk and get in touch if you can commit.
Thanks

Hi,
Sounds an amazing opportunity. I do not have any direct experience but I posses all of the other attributes you are looking for. Just the availability bit which I'm not sure about......I am free every evening (sometimes as early as 3:00 ish) and every weekend.....is that enough to cover the availability part? if so I would love a chance to help out.
Regards
David

Worth putting in General Gassing where most of the "Help I need a break getting into motorsport" threads start.
They evaporate pretty quickly when you offer them the chance to stand knee deep in welsh mud in the pouring rain trying to hammer bits back onto a car covered in dirt with all the tools jammed with the same...
Can't think why!

You're problem is that you're advertising in the wrong place. You need to recruit some WRC rally fans - they live to stand in cold mud being lashed with horizontal rain.
