Pensions , who benefits......

A friend of mine has been told by her hubby that she will not benefit from his forces pension if he dies first, as he took it out when he was a single person, is this true or has he got it wrong?

There's a number of Army Pension Schemes and it's important for your friend to work out which section applies to his/her circumstances, a major item being thew date they joined the army. Then it's a matter of the specific provisions of the Scheme.
