You do not always drive to book - I have been behind some of you off duty! Have seen you use Handy (tut!), know you are above speed limit - cos of ever increasing distance - and above 35mph too! (TUT!)!
And what about those who got off speeding ticket because sign was wrong colour?
Whatever the
colour - still a sign warning of scam and they still trigged it - so they were still breaking the
law!
Read letters in papers from BiBs who have points on licence - one has six points!
And
- few weeks back - watched one of thos Traffic Cop shows: South Yorks Plod - aka talivan twit - zapping cars and had little gleam in eye whenver he copped one being a bit naughty! Actually admitted he had 3 points for .... 38mph in 30mph zone and numpty got copped by yellow box!
He should have bought a b2
And now -- BiB lives locally - and had England flag attached to his car. Nowt wrong with that -- but damned thing blew off his car and across my husband's windscreen. (He was drivin' his prized Stag as it was nice sunny day - and was not amused at all.!
) Right numpty! He should know better than this! Twazak!
What is view of these darned things attached willy nilly to cars - wingmirrors - aerials, rear windows -fluttering away and being ruddy great distraction when I am driving at respectable speed down M6! And how the hell do we know if numpty has fixed it firmly?
And this BiB should know better - horse riders in area! See flag in their faces and they will spook - no matter what darned space you give!
Surely - there are safer ways of showing support to footy team?
Seems a bit bizarre to me - when as far as I am aware - yu are not supposed to have clutter obstructing your view! And these flags dangling from car windows -- clutter!

BiB also have an extra set of local rules they must follow, eg response and pursuit guidelines (although these vary from force to force, and according to which class of driver they apply to).
We do have certain exemptions in law for some things like speed limits, red lights etc. But if it goes wrong for us while we are using these exemptions, we are still liable to be prosecuted for offences eg due care, etc.

have seen one really bad piece of driving in a police car...when no lights/anything on. but then it was bad enough that I thought it may well have been nicked!
Aside from that....never seen a marked cop car breaking the law. Been stopped by an unmarked who was doing quite a high speed (and I was tucked in behind him abdout 200 yards back for quiet some while), and we hd a polite chat....but that's all really.
