Insurance - ncd

Sorry quick insurance question if anyone can help,

Cancelled my pol 4 months ago mid term as i sold the car, will the 3 years ncd i had on that policy still be valid for a new policy? The fact i cancelled the last pol mid term makes me a bit nervous on this one.

Abroad so cant call my old insurer without spending $$$ and time on hold, any help would be much apreciated!

I think it remains valid for a few years but cancelling mid-term means it goes back to the previous year's NCD obviously. As long as you have proof of course...

I think it remains for 2 years, but the 4months isn't counted, only full years
