Combi boiler - Hot water pre-heater - Vaillant Turbomax 824

Anybody know if and how to disable the DHW pre-heater? It's probably costing me a fortune and it wakes me up at night!

I have the installation manual but can't find the user manual.

It was just a question of turning the HW knob fully anti-clockwise to turn off the "warmstart". Now to edumacate the Missus NOT to do the opposite

I may even screw a self-taping screw into the case to act as a stop!

I always found a mallet to be of better value - on the missus of course!

Remove knob, snap spindle, replace knob. Missus thinks she has control, you know she doesn't, everyone wins!
