CCC's V's Powertech Cans
Discussion
The time has come for a bit more noise and i wondered if people have a preference between Carbon Can Co and Powertech. Is there really any difference?
I like the pops, cracks and bangs that i've hear in a few other Tuscans, but has this been acheived by de-catting? I'd rather not de-cat if i don't have to.
I assume neither type of can will do any damage?
Any thoughts would be helpful, mine's a 3.6 MKII. Will probably stick with a carbon finish as it goes well with a black car.
Cheers,
Tom

I think they are the same product under different brands, have a feeling Powertech is a more recent brand name for the CCC's, 'So Called' bought powertech just recently.
Regardless, they are both noisy
Yes, very noisey.Regardless, they are both noisy
I drove mine with the roof down for the first time the other week -
glad I dont drive behind me.Although mine are also decatted.

Driving to Spain next week. Wonder how the French and Spanish will like the noise

The rest of my co0nvoy to Le4 Mans this year complained that they couldn't hear their own cars over my Tuscan decatted with CCC's.
Other cars were: Cayman S, 993 C2S, Caterham, M3, Rangie Sport, Elise.
They made me go at the back of the convoy
(I did get a bit bored though and passed them every now and then as they were holding me up)
