Hi

Im thinking of doing a trackday at Blyton is it ok?

Its not too far away and seems a reasonable price. The only videos i can see show a concrete(in parts) surface?

I really enjoy the circuit. We have been there twice and have booked another 2 days there in September and October. The surface is good, recently re-surfaced with good run off. In alot of ways, all the advantages of an airfield..run off and cost with the advantages of a race track, in terms of surface and no cones! The circuit is owned and run by a really nice guy who makes everybody welcome.

A few laps of the circuit here.

did one day, not very long track, excellent surface but is quite narrow, very twisty only decent straight has a very tight chicane half way along ( i was down to 1st gear for it but car is high geared ) noise no problem, very relaxed, guy who owns it is really nice
i live 30 mins away and won't be gong again, just didn't suit my car at all, if i had a bike engined screaming 7 or the like would be at every day....... bit gutted realy but could ust get into 3rd gear twice i one lap then straight back down again to 2nd

Definitely worth a visit I've been twice this year and will going again.
New smooth tarmac on old airfield runways with plenty of run off for when things don't go according to plan! No noise problems, a challenging circuit and anti-clockwise helps to spread the tyre wear, agree no long straights but for me that makes it better.
A very friendly and enthusiastic circuit owner.
