I'm going to go if XH558 is displaying, otherwise it's a little too far for me.
Keep an eye on www.vulcantothesky.org but it's not looking too hopeful.....K50 DEL said:

Tests complete
We are happy to report that all tests have been completed and XH558 is deemed serviceable at this time.
The usual caveats of weather and serviceability on the day remain, but we fully intend to make Dunsfold this weekend if possible.
Well done and much appreciation to the Engineering team in getting the aircraft to this point in such a short timescale.

Hi I hope any PH ers will come into the motoring paddock and come and say hello.Im fairly tall and will have a badge on with name TONY MORETON
Will do Tony. i'll with with the 2 kids who will be asking if we can buy anything they see - oh and as the smallest is at her grandmothers i'll be travelling in the CL for a change!Really enjoyed driving all the way in and then finding out they can't accept cards at the gate so had to drive back out kids in tow to find a cash machine... As we came back in there were literally 1 in 5 people having to do the same. Why they didn't think to at least put a notice right out on the front gate escapes me.
Other than that, great day out!

Good day out. Outside of the air displays (with the obvious absent Red Arrows, Vulcan) it was very expensive day for what what alot of trade stands that had to pay to be there and lots of car clubs providing displays, free of charge i would assume. Makes the Goodwood Events such as FOS and Revival, good value for money IMO.
That said, i would guess that the majority of the entrance free goes to Charity?

Lots of very disgruntled families at the ticket office when i was buying my ticket. Can't imagine why they didn't except cards in todays day and age.Other than that, great day out!
