Nice looking car. At that price i'd be expecting everything to be in absolutely pristine condition, especially the chassis. Any one know what the dealer paid this car's owner before slapping on the 24K price tag? Might help you negotiate a reduction in price. Good luck.

The reason for the total repaint was due to a scuff on the nose section of the car. Yes, maybe it was a tad extreme to get the whole car painted but I feel that the car deserved it and really does look stunning now and is sitting in reception here.

Always had a soft spot for the two extremes on Griffith 500s, Moonraker Black or the White.

some colours are hard to match, so demand full respray....... Hey a fresh lick of paint looking tidy why ask so many questions/suspiscion , if I sold mine as a complete respray to tidy up paint work no one would bat an eye lid.... NO NOT FOR SALE

And during summer the Yellow paint job distracts wasps and keeps them away from the beers in the pub garden. Genius.

Usually "nose jobs" involve re-spraying right back to approximately halfway up the front panels, to a spot roughly above the wheel arches. Cost can be anywhere between £300 and £600 depending on who you use. An entire respray doesn't sound right for that, unless they used the opportunity to change the colour.

Not with a colour like this it doesn't. A bodge job could have maybe been carried for a few hundred but that is not how I prepare cars here.

And this IS its original colour.

This car was in auto trader at £15500 in April may, advertised as flip flop yellow (pearl White ) and 3 owners ( turned out to be 4)

I was v interested until the "FSH" turned out to include looooong gaps ("my mate bought it off a mate who laid it up for 5 years and I bought it off've him, serviced it myself like"

I hpi'd it and when it showed the full colour change (which the owner denied) I walked away. The owner said that James Agger had offered him £15k so I'd better bag a bargain else he'd take James' £15k.....Looks like James Agger didn't fancy it either.

Pretty sure it's the same one...... Pearl White , 24k, repainted........

@ L100NY. - seller was called Danny wasn't he. On the phone at least - was in Kent
