What a car and what a road! I remember being driven down that road in 1987 when I was 8. The old man hired a Toyota Camry and we went to Monterey, Pebble Beach etc.

Do you wear a full face helmet on the motorway or just sunglasses. I think an aero screen would be a bit of a pain on a long journey like that. I have seen a mates eye after he briefly lifted his visor whilst driving an Aerial Atom at 80mph and a tiny stone hit him right in the eye!

Great picture...we drove Highway 1 in 2005 in the Caterham as part of the se7ens list tour...3500 miles from Galveston Texas to San Francisco....trip of a lifetime

I wore industrial safety glasses with a tinted lens - looks like regular sunglasses, but with good impact resistance. And I did not follow closely.

Freestyle "superwide" suspension uses a DeDion tube from an SV, so arches are +55mm width. Good eye!
