A34 bypass near Handforth Dean, 599 with a reg of "F1 ***", didn't take a photo as find it in bad taste (though obviously ok with posting about it for some reason), looked like a total loss, my sympathies to the owner !

Ferrari's do seem to have a bit of a record in this respect or is it just because people notice more if its is a Ferrari ?

No, but certain Renaults do when compressed air gets a touch hot.

Think it might have been a 612 Scalligetti, couldnt see much other than the rear wheel and reg plate, was totally burnt out but a DVLA enquiry says it was 5748 cc not 5999 like the 599.
