Personally,I wouldn't touch a car if it had 30 Trillion miles.

I would be more than happy to have one with that sort of mileage.

Agreed, who'd buy a derv to do 3k a year in??? I'd want to see every MOT for it.

This one?

As said these cars tend to be bought by people who do a fair bit of mileage. If the mileage is genuine, and to be believed I would be expecting a very very clean car, with perfect history. If you can go online when you are there you can do a VOSA check, but you will need some numbers from the V5 and MOT.

Without wanting to cast aspersions on the seller, but I'd be thinking new engine or clocks fitted.
Ask for the last 7 chassis digits, if the reg is not original or personal, and ask a nice dealer if they could confirm low mileage in the service history.
Equally, I'd be thinking possibly off road for number of years due to major accident repair - lack of funds after buying from salvage yard to put on the road or owner didn't involve insurers?

Be very suspicious, and if all is grand, then it's a welcome bonus, rather than thinking the best, only o be disappointed when the worst is found out.

ok.. thanks for everybodys feedback.
I will check those things out, first i was thinking of a Porsche Boxster/Cayman stuff but then i discovered this low mileage BMW.
I purchased my last car with 5 years and only 6k miles and had a very good value.
Thats why im looking for older cars with low mileages.

Sticks.

Go and wash your mouth out biggrin The dervs are dull as ditchwater. I had an E46 330i manual, and it was a more enjoyable drive than current 330d.

I've not driven the current cars but I've had 2 E46 330d m sports & both were great cars & in the real world faster than 330i
