Does anyone else watch The Closer?

It airs on More4 in the UK and they have recently finished repeating Season 4.

They showed Season 5 last year and should be showing Season 6 soon but as I wasn't able to find any definitive information on when this would be I acquired it from other sources.

I'm now half way through Season 6 and the show just gets better and better.

From the excellent storylines to the brilliant cast of characters and the actors who play them, I really can't recommend this show enough - a real gem which deserves a bigger audience.

Season 7, which will be the last one, is currently airing in the US. They have increased the number of episodes from the usual 15 to 21 and extended the run so that it actually finishes airing next summer - some of the are airing now, some over Xmas and the last batch next summer so it's a good time to jump into the series before it finally finishes.

Brilliant show. I've got the first 6 seasons on DVD and there isn't a bad episode amongst them. Well written combined with brilliant acting from a cast that really gels together. Some of the comedic moments (especially in the earlier series) are priceless.

Good to hear that I am not the only one who watches and enjoys this show.

Shame that Season 7 is going to be the last one.

However, it is pretty certain that they will launch a spin-off show called Major Crimes to be headed by Mary McDonnell's character - not sure I'll watch that.

Looks like Alibi have picked up the rights to The Closer and will be showing it from the beginning from Thursday 27 October 2011.

Great opportunity to catch this show - really can't recommend this show enough.

Only just realised last week it was back on.

Also quite like Southlands which is usually shown just before the Closer.
