MNR Vortx Mazda
Discussion
Guys,
Just read the article in the latest issue of CKC.
It's neat looking car (apart from the massive roll bar on the featured car) and I quite like the different front end.
Seems to have some good reviews with regard the chassis/suspension set up but the 1.6 engine seems to be a bit lacking.
Anyone seen this in the flesh and can comment?
Is the MNR chassis as good as is made out in the article?
Cheers
Chris

Big power from a 1.6 MX5 engine is no problem, providing you have the space to install the supercharger or turbocharger ( could look pretty cool with external turbocharger a la Duncan Cowper's Dax Rush... )
Less than 2K can buy you a kit delivering 200+ turbo or ( preferably ) supercharged bhp with total reliability. That is Caterham R400 power with more torque. I really wish a good MX5 donor kit will sell in volume, its a great donor.
