so the missus wanted a cat after we moved, so considering it is cheaper than a sprog I agreed.

it is quite cute. I'll pop up a picture later.

I guess we should now get her insured. She is 8 weeks old (I think). Who is the cheapest but will provide reasonable cover. More than seemed pretty cheap @ £5.00 pcm with a 60 quid XC?

Cats aren't too bad to insure cost wise. It's trying to find a good policy that's the challenge!

Try and get a policy that covers them for life apposed to one that you has to renew each year.

We currently have a yearly policy however one of our cats has dermatitis which we have recently found out is due to her being allergic to fish.

She is only 3 but now means that the insurance won't cover her for it from when we have to renew our policy

Have a look at the RSPCA branded poicy. It seemed to offer the best value to me when looking a few months back.
