current drain

Can anyone tell me what the 'usual' current drain should be on a pre-cat 4.0 Grif (Gemini Alarm). Mine seems to vary between 0.2 and 0.4amps.
Also, can anyone tell me how long a battery in good condition should last with this sort of drain, before there is not enough juice to start the engine?

i no that most merc's should not drain more than 0.04 amp after the control units have gone to sleep this normally takes around 15 mins but are all can bus not the same i no but this does seem high but dont take my word for it as i havent yet worked on tiv's

Draper make £19.99. I leave mine pluged in to the battery all the time--your will have no problem with batt/drain & allways starts first time

This current drain is normal. My 4.3 has a similar drain, and I can leave it for three or four weeks without the battery conditioner connected. Of course, it was a different story recently, when my alternator packed up, and caused a current drain of around 4 amps!! Needless to say, it was getting a bit warm...
