Apologies, the search function is down and I am sure this has been covered but just looking at replacements for the front of my 500 without PAS currently Toyo Proxes T1-S size 205 55 ZR15.

I can't find Proxes in this size other than V rating. The 2 makes of tyres I have found in this size with a suitable speed rating are Dunlop SP9000 and Yokahama S Drive (W rating but ok i understand).

Does anyone have experience with these tyres? or do you have any other suggestions?

SP9000 do not mix well with proxies. Tried it on my G33 and the car felt positvely dangerous. Went to Neil Garner for geo set up and he said the issue was the tyre mix. SP9000 allround = good (also use for hillclimbing), Proxies all round = goodish but road use only for me

Agree, But I believe Dunlop do not make the SP 9000 anymore! frown
The choices are very limited.

Is everyone replacing their 15" front wheels with 16". I have spent the evening looking for front tyres with no luck other than then Yokohama S Drive which seem to have a poor rap on the review sites.

Any manufacturers out their supplying 205 55 R15 W??

Yes you are right - I fell for the "New SP9000" as i was worried about the speed rating. Fitted them to the car and just didnt feel right. I checked the age and found out they were over 5 years old!
Fitted Toyo's all round and havent looked back. An excellent all round tyre, both road and track. Check with your insurance company first. Heritage were fine about v rated tyres on the front.
