Photobox Pro. Any good or a taste of wine?

Is Photobox Pro worth bothering about? Thought I might see if I can flog a few of my underwater piccies.

If it is worthy of useage thereof type thing, what mark up do people slap on thei piccies?

Or is it all a complete pipe dream that someone would actually be interested in a photo of a Rhinopias aphanes

I sell my pics there - it's money for old rope. Every few months I check and see how much I've earned, then transfer it to my pay pal account. I don't mark up much btw.

PS What markup do you do?

You can do a 'blanket' mark up as a %, but I don't - I vary. Some are 170% others as little as 60%. This means a decent sized print for only £20 - £25 (which I know is cheap, but I'm never going to make a fortune from photography, but need to 'tick over' to keep the Tax & VAT men off my back)

I sell far more in the local outlets up here (captive audience - esp when it's pissing down), but when stock runs out they can still be told thay can buy on-line.

Photobox charge their usual rate AND a commission which in my experience wipes out much of your selling price. Keep it low and make no margin, or price it to make it worthwhile and it's too expensive to sell. That's my experience anyway. But have a go, you may do better.
