I've just fitted new Team Dynamics 1.2s (17" front, 18" rear) with Falken 452s all round (215/40/17 front and 245/35/18 rear).
What would be a starting point for tyre pressures for these?
I found the tyre dealer who fitted the rears had the pressures up at 34psi, and the car was all over the place!!
I've dropped to 26r, 24f, but I still find the front is 'twitchy' and tramlines when at speed, which is not fun! The rear has settled down, but I wonder if 26psi is too low.
Are there any alignment setup experts out there who could offer me values (camber, toe etc) for wheels and tyres like these? Although the wheels are bigger the actual rolling circumfirence of the wheels and tyres hasn't changed from the original 16"/15" Estorils. But I'm guessing with the lower profile tyres the ride/cornering will be different and the suspension/alignment set up should be different too.
Any advice is much appreciated.

I found this link, which explains what the setting do, but doesn't give values.

also remember to drive those Falkens in for about say 50km or miles...
there is a layer on the thread that is a bit slippery in the beginning
I know...bin there done that and scared me a bit when I attacked the big corner the same speed as I did before with the other tires
after that layer was gone I had way better grip.
tyre pressure is indeed also very important, specially on such low weight cart like most TVR.
on the road on say a BMW M coupe the tire pressure was 2.2 bar on the fronts and 2.4 bar at the rears with one person.
maybe on a light car like TVR you can try 2.0 bar front and 2.2 bar rear.

how is the line out from your car? or how you call that in English, has it a bit toe-in or...
when not or when it has a bit toe-out it also can feel that way or when some ball? joints are not that strong anymore.
maybe your lucky its just the tire pressure wich you have to play with, but normally that type Falken does not really have very strong side-walls I believe so do not extra help negative feel in extra tram-lining.
I drove once with way to high front tire pressure, just had fitted new tires and they did something wrong, instead of putting 2.2<>2.4 (in my then 1350kg M coupe) in the fronts they putted 3.0 bar in... whaha
on low speeds easy turns etc...but above 180km/h it begun to feel scary by steering feeling, when normally say 260km/h was no problem what so ever.
I thought what went wrong, looked under the car checked some things...could not find a thing...then after another fast drive checked the pressure and then yep...found it, so lowered it to my own specification and all was fine again.
