I know, I know, I know......

Blue TVRs again!!

But just in case I were thinking about one, which blue is "Starmist". Someone point me in the direction of a profile or picture on the web?

(I don't suppose I could live with a blue one, mind )

Ah - should've known I could rely on you, Graham! (Ta, muchly!)

It's quite a dark blue then, ah-ha!

I had a mental image of something a bit paler/brighter (stars being shiney things an' all!)

So it looks quite classy.......

....except it's blue

It always looks dark blue but low sun at the beginning or end of the day adds depth to the paint and it really comes alive. I definitely didn't want a blue TVR and spent ages looking for a silver/grey/titanium or oyster finish but in the end I found a Starmist Blue that had everything on my checklist. Apart from the visibility of stone chips it's a great colour.

It's this....

Oh, and woman does the garden.... I just wash the car!

The Starmist colours have flecks of Mica in them, so up close, or particularly clean, and definitely in the right light, it sparkles a bit - some flecks are silver, some purple, so it gives the car a lovely depth and really brings out the curves..... <wipes up slobber>

Likewise I was looking for Cosmos Blue or even Halcyon Atlantis, but Starmist Blue is such a simply classic colour and with the extra shimmer it's just great..

... and not to be confused with mica blue which looks about identical but the flecks in the paint are larger (or so they seemed when I compared my mica blue tusc with my mate starmist cerbie) Seemed to give it a slightly more pearly effect...

Cheers

Have a look at my profile, and you will see Starmist Blue in all is glory as the sun hits it. In some lights it is very blue and in others very black.

So’s mine, Starmist Blue with contrasting Red interior. Check profile for pic. What is really strange is that under petrol station lights at night, the colour looks a lot lighter, than in the day light..!?
