Looking for some tyres for my BMW - I had some Kumho HU31s last time round, and have been checking out prices. I don't usually read the description for tyres, but did this time:

MyTyres page for Kumho KH31s

Text:

'The Korean ultra-high performance tyre manufacturer Kumho presented with the scent tyres another sensational new development. The Kumho KH 31 is in the four fragrances orange blossom, rosemary, lavender and jasmine. The tyres are not well known to smell is one thing that is not only with a car and thicknesses much hp under the hood can specify, is the other thing. How about times with the opposite sex instead of roses, with beguiling smells of jasmine or orange on points. Let simply Kumho KH 31 and assemble a balance of fresh scent.'

Did they forget to take this off on April 1st?

The garage I use has a display with these in their showroom. I haven't had a sniff though so couldn't tell you if they are any good, however, I have stood and waited right next to the display and never noticed any fragrances. Can't imagine it would be noticeable out in the open air.

The guys in the garage say they are popular in Japan. Doesn't surprise me.

Kumho Tyres in association with Audi bring the scent of S-Line, featuring more imagine and special turbo diesel white than ever before.

What was that brand that did "coloured smoke" tyres, wasn't it Kumho as well?

They should combine them, so you could have lavender purple tyres hehe.

I always thought the smelly ones, like the coloured ones were for drifting.

There's already a couple of threads where fans discuss drifting with close minded anti-drift types like you.
