And so the fun begins!

From the paperwork I have for the engine in the 280, it appears that all those years ago, albeit only 12k miles ago, the engine didnt get the correct head gaskets!
there are 35% of the water ways covered with gasket and the build up of sludge in both the heads and the block is silly and as a result it looks like Ill be doing a complete strip down of the engine to try and flush out all the gunk, not to mention that while cleaning off old gasket and general dismantling it has been an almost impossible task to keep all of the old paint and st from getting into oil ways and water ways.

So, off with the sump first, then I suppose onto the water pump and timing cover to get a good look at the internals and remove all the gunk.

what fun!

Radiator is off for a makeover which at £40 I thought was a bargain!!

On the plus side, at least Im on holiday this week!!!

I would go with the 2.9 cosworth suggestions but I really want to keep it in some way original!
