Happy days.......

Been a week since taking out the wedge...... so after walking the dogs this morning, opened garage, checked oil & water, fired her up put on drive ticking over.... got petrol money jumped in and drove to our cheapest local gsrsge to fill up.
Nicely warmed up after filling up with petrol, so went around some of the best roads in Buckinghamshire 'excercising' the 420.
Running like a dream, oil & temp on the button, pulling like a train
, popping & banging for England.
90 minutes later, returned home, £20 well speant - oh well, have to top up again next week.
Cheered me up no end amongst all this doom & gloom in the papers - made me realise why I've brought my 5th one - happy days

Its nice to get the car out on a nice day, get the roof off and go for a blast of your favorites roads.
I was out on Saturday at the game fair at Drumlandrig Castle parked on the front lawn with a few other Tivs and a couple of nice Westfields and a Robin Hood, cracking day caught too much sun and the cars all got drulled over but got a little wet on the drive home, wouldnt be a wedge if the roof was on
and Sunday had a realy nice drive out the Sunny but windy Silloth for a BBQ with the rest of the Tiv club, all in all a good weekend for the carbon foot print on the borders

Nice Alan. It's days like this I really miss having a Tiv ready to go. (and my neibour has just bought a Lotus Exige Supercharger).

Tricky one Wyn I think you need to get another wedge back into the garage
