Pistonheads seems to be plumbing new depths.

That is the first post on PH that has referenced the Sunday Sport.

What is the world coming to?

I've never read it.

Wouldn't you be better addressing your question to JAYB?

Oh lighten up you lot, there's enough misery in the world, sure it might have been better in the lounge, but as a headline (in any national publication) it brought a smile to my face.

I still have a copy of the Sun somewhere that has the headline 'Queen has a rubber duckie in the bath'. It was around November 2001 I think, obviously a quiet time for news...

Perogative.

I didn't read the rag, didn't even want to touchit.

I merely thought that that front page headline was worthy of comment to all the decent types on here that would not come into contact with it normally.

Let us not forget the Sun's classic from a few years back "Elton Takes David up the Aisle".

The only headline that has made me stop, go in to the newsagents and pick up the paper was about an Aussie Rules player who plays for a team nicknamed "The Pies". He'd been involved in a nightclub fracas and had been questioned by the police before being released. The headline?

"Police quiz Pie".

I thought the Sunday Sport ceased trading / printing or whatever it's called in newspaper circles? Was it 'saved'?

Surely you read the headline...
or are you making the whole thing up?

Isn't that a bit like shoving hard core porn under the noses of nuns? We wouldn't normally "come into contact with it" because we don't want to see this rubbish. That is why we need mods. Without them, this site would descend into an avalanche of insults and porn.
