abuse over xbox live

was playing a bit of cod on sunday hardcore FFA when i started getting abuse from someone as i kept killing him usual camper comments etc although i kept getting him at all sorts of different points on the map anyway so hardly camping. anyway it cumulated in him telling me he was going to get his mates come round stamp on my head and rape my wife wile he forced me to watch. obviously i reported him in game but its not like anything will actually happen will it most probably just get reminded of the code of conduct etc
it got to me as tbh it the worst i have ever come across on there. it was made all the worse as it seems geographically he isnt that far from me at all.

...Yer I get the same thing when I play black ops. I get the same comments especially on search when people think they are so good and you wipe the floor with them and they get annoyed and start acting all hard, I normally don’t even have my headset in as I can’t be asked to listen to them.
Report the person using their gamertag and let them carry on. There are some very immature gamers out there who just can't accept it when someone who doesn't play games 12 hours a day comes along and beats them fair and square one day.
I've had a few messages in the last couple of weeks for some pathetic yanks and brits who deem it necessary to leave me a fairly elaborate voice message expressing their hatred for me. It normally makes me giggle and I carry on with it. If it is more personal or vulgar, then I'd forward it or report their gamertag to xbox live. It is more than likely that someone like that has probably been reported before. The more people complain, the more likely it is that their console will be banned.
Otherwise, just laught it off, ignore it and carry on gaming.

Even had a twelve year old kid making all sorts of horrible threads and swearing like a docker, thats was funny and me a few mates couldnt help but laugh and just keep telling him to fk off. It was even funnier when his mum came on and started having a go because we had sworn infront of her precious sweet little boy. He, good times.
Its always amusing to see just how far you can push people, some of them do explode in a fit of anger when you just laugh off there abuse and just be polite about the whole thing, they hate it when they cant make you angry.

FPS games like COD and Battlefield you will always get people like that. Do what I do...just go after them more than others and in really annoying ways (Knife, Defrib etc)
I had a Swedish guy damn near breakdown lastnight on Black Ops - he was trying to use nothing but knives for a couple of rounds, caught me once, so for the 3 subsequent rounds I killed him in the most annoying ways, noob tube, knife, crossbow etc. It just went perfectly - something which rarely happens, and I was moving around constantly, so when he came looking for revenge he got knifed in the back etc. After one round he was a bit miffed and talking smack, after the second he was apoplectic, and at the end of the third (which I got him 15 times and he got me 1), he flipped out quite spectacularly
Half a dozen messages telling me just what he thought etc
