After a cheeky 5 minutes of someone's time with a fault code reader. I'd rather avoid the £80 that Renault want to check my 182 for faults.

I'm near Jct 12 but obviously happy to travel!

Cheers.

I've got a USB code reader & software, and am 3 mins off J12 myself. Happy to meet up tonight if you don't get any other takers.

Thanks guys. I've got it booked in at Renault today but may take you up on that in future if that's OK?

I think there is a mix of both. I bought myself a cheap U480 from ebay and this fails to read any faults despite the car going into a limp mode. Hopefully the Renault system will pick something up.

Intermittent limp mode issue. Current thinking is either the throttle body or pedal potentiometer. Pedal is being replaced by Renault and I have another TB on it's way to me. If they don't fix it then I'll start looking at the loom.
