My friend is looking to buy numberplate for his son. The plate he is looking to buy is "97 JT". He was just wondering how much he would need to fork out to buy the plate.

Well, on Reg Transfers 96 JT would set you back £8,500, and 90 JT is over £10k. The one you are after doesn't even appear, so someone already owns it
