Nice pix.
I know this may be an unpopular view and I certainly don't want to start a slanging match, but I can't understand why it is that someone who owns a particular make of car would want to spend all Sunday sitting in a field with several hundred other cars of the same make.
I do own a fairly unusual Jaguar as it happens but I don't live in the UK so don't feel under pressure.

Mikey

Plenty of other things to do as well including many trade stands, the Beaulieu Museum and Palace.

Many people like spending time looking at cars and getting ideas for upgrades they can do to theirs.

I agree not everyone is interested but judging by the turnout there are a whole host of people who are.

Well, there you go. It's just me I guess. I like using my old Jaguar when I can but I can't be doing with the idea of sitting in a field or in a bar with a lot of people talking about nothing else.
I get nightmares about being forced to join the JEC- but I guess at least then they'd to let me look at their forum...

I had the same thoughts but went to Ripon JEC Northern Meet. To see a 1000 old jags all together and lots of XJS's was quite a site and interesting to speak to other enthusiasts. But I did leave at 1pm having been there since 10 I bore easily.
