Heads up for Dorset phers who commute past Holton Heath

The road between the Bakers Arms roundabout and Holton Heath Industrial Estate will be closed for 5 weeks approximately from the end of September for maintenance. That road in rush hour is a bloody nightmare at the best of times, and I use it twice a day.

You have my deepest sympathies. I nearly bought a house at Sandford recently but that road would have driven me nuts as I commute to Poole every day.

Sometimes it isn't bad. Being 5 minutes late out of the office can turn a 10 minute journey to a 30 minute journey though

so all the poole bound traffic will have to do the detour from the pottery roundabout. Nice safe T-junction to negotiate daily, joy.....

It's OK, they're putting temporary lights in. Just like last time. 5 weeks! WTF are they doing?
