I note there have been several threads on what settings to use for the change-up lights on the Tuscan 1's... but I can't find anything regarding the settings on my Tuscan 2S (digital pod dash not wavy). Of course the Tuscan 2 has only a single red light warning you of revs - "lights up like a Baboon's backside" as described by Jeremy Clarkson. There are 3 settings - Low, Medium and High. I've found out that this seems to relate to engine oil temperature - so the red light comes on at the "Low" setting when oil is cold, "Medium" when warm and the highest setting when oil is at full temp. Clever! Some enthusiastic testing has shown this to be the case. But does anyone have any idea what they should be set to? I've taken a guess but would like some confirmation. Also tell me if I've got the whole thing wrong!

Just replied in one of the other threads, would suggest you dont use enthusiatic testing when cold or you may need some engine work earlier than you would like.

Thanks Laser. I was sensible enough to lower all of the settings substantially for testing! I've owned the car since new and have always been careful to warm up and monitor oil temp before revving above 3K. I'm grateful to you for confirming my theory. Do you know what they should be set to? I'd rather err on the low side so have them set low I suspect at the moment.

FWIW my 3.6 Tuscan II has 6k, 6k5 and 7k as the limits. Not sure how 'original' these are but have been reading a lot of threads recently, and recall seeing this elsewhere.
