Is a new key dealer-only, and what should I expect it to cost?

Depending on vin range a new keyfob from a dealer will be around £70-115 but you may be able to get one cheaper off ebay? You can programme it to the car yourself.
A key is around £50 cut to your key number from a dealer and as far as i know you will need a dealer to programme it to the car, again you may be able to get a blank key from ebay or similar.
