On the road to Magny Cours...

Off there this Friday to arrive noon on Saturday.

Want to be a maximum of 2 hours from the track before getting our heads down for the night and will be staying for just enough time to shower, sleep a little and leave so whilst I don't want a flea pit anything flasher than a Travelodge would be a wasted.

Any suggestions?

Usually stay at Bourges, plenty of budget hotels (B&B have 2 hotels right next door to each other) there and a 45 minute spirited drive to Magny Cours.

Ex-pat English couple run it (Peter & Jane) and can't do enough for you. About 25 mins drive from circuit (all back roads and all fun). Last minute booking not normally a problem.
