I'm still not sure if the OP is taking the p!ss.
I think in raiders of the lost ark they used a stick or something to set up cruise control before the car went over a cliff. Which is funny since a friend went off one in Cyprus and 100 foot later he could not work out why it took so long to
die. One very lucky lad.

I think cruise control is essential when dining a car that has been described as hard to drive slow on a motorway where 80% of cops litre on wait.
is it that unreasonable in your opinion?

Firstly I am 46 and not a hat backwards boy racer and secondly if a cheeky description of a policeman with a speed radar gun really ruined your day then I suggest you perhaps go over to the Rover 45 forum instead. (Tyresmoke?...WTF??)
I personally feel that cruise control on any car is essential these days for responsible driving and it has nothing to do with wanting to drive fast. What on earth is it but a drivers aid, especially if you feel like a more laid back drive without worrying if you are creeping a few kph over the limit every time you go downhill, especially in a light car.
100kph is the limit here and 120kph is tolerated as is your 90mph, 121kph is not though and will get you a ticket and 3 points.
We do however have miles of back, country and mountain roads that are perfect for a faster drive.
Driving in bright heat and sunlight at a seemingly walking pace in a fast car is much easier when you dont have to worry about what your right foot is doing.
Will I be next told that airconditioning is for wimps in a Cerb and that I should be driving around with the window open to quote "hear those exhausts", or maybe that power steering is for girls.
Come on..
Really dissapointed with this forum at the moment, didn't expect this behavior at all.
