I have made this Poll purely too see what PHers tastes and requirements are. All of these cars are worth approximately £25k and they MUST be able to be used as your daily driver, so you have to be able to afford to run it ETC. I'll will make a part 2 for this thread, as you can only put 10 options in a poll, so you can have a 1st and 2nd choice.

My decision was driven by your stipulation of being used as a daily, therefore the Megane got a tick..

I voted Noble but I'd have that or the Renault as I don't really like any of the others.

I would have gone for the M5, but the cost of running it would probably bankrupt me, so i've gone for the Megane, since it will still be under warranty. Money's tight round this way.

I have chosen the Noble, as that would be the one I would most like to drive to work every morning. It would be my daily car, however I would also need a family car of some sort for non-commuting drives. So I did think about the M5, but it would be a shame to allow some kids to wreck the seats

Interesting results so far, especially for the two Ferraris!

The point is, if you had £25k that you were only aloud to spend on a daily driver, what would you pick.

I'd love to own plenty of those but, as a daily driver, I'll take the XF.

24k miles per year of comfort and luxury.

The point is, if you had to pic one of the above which one would you choose. I've looked in you profile, and I see you like Jap cars. I've added the R34 GT-R to part 2.

for a daily driver, come rain or shine, hmmmmm

Head says M5, heart says Maserati...

So I went for the Maserati.

Ask me again in 10 minutes and I may have changed my mind.

Hmm, I'm thinking none of the Italian exotica count as a daily driver, having owned F348 for 2.5 years I know it is not! I doubt the CV8 fulfills that criteria either, so I vote for the Corvette, but, would go for a RR Sport if on the list.

I'll have two hyundia i30s please one for me and one for the wife due to the big fat warranty

if not i'll have the golf and buy my own toys

A daily driver is like a dishwasher dull but essential

the concept of owning only one car is madness

I couldn't afford a dealer service on any of these.

Exactly. This is some schoolboy fantasy exercise while waiting for the Maths supply teacher to turn up.

I went for Noble as I'm not old or sensible enough to want or need a comfortable and practical daily driver. I think servicing costs would be a big problem on a lot of those cars, ruling out the 456 for sure although it's a lovely car. I would be quite tempted by the 308 and at Ferrari dealer costs would probably service it myself.
