My neighbours machine is knackered and he's asked me to look at it.

Basically, I've got to do a 'repair' install on Win XP. Does anyone (close to Sunningdale) have a Win XP CD I could borrow for a few hours? It's fully licensed, so don't need a serial number - just need the CD itself.

Many thanks in advance,

K

I have a Windows XP Professional CD (2002 version) that you could use but obviously I'm not that close to Sunningdale.

If you get stuck, you're more than welcome to borrow it though.

If you get stuck I can post you a copy, I'm sort of stuck at home for the next couple of days otherwise I'd have a hoon up to Sunningdale!

Blimey - thanks for all the kind offers everyone thumbup

Apologies for the delay in coming back to you all - had a call-out for a MisPer; and a dodgy BB connection frown

Not sure who is nearest to Sunningdale - but if someone is home tonight, I'd be able to pop round to collect thumbup

If you are still looking, the one i have is a Dell OEM XP professional SP3.
I can get the Mrs to take it into work tomorrow afternoon and you could pick it up from over the road.
