Possibly a bit late to start this but having almost finished packing bits in the boot I wondered who else would be going through the same struggles.
Tried to work out the best way to pack and still be able to get the roof in and out with out removing too much.
Then gave up and chucked it all in!
Hope it doesn't rain!
I also had to laugh at the size of the tool box I have packed compared to the size of the first aid kit.
Does this show priorities?

Firstly, it has always amazed me just how much kit you can fit in the boot of a griff, even with the lid off.
However, a few years a go I came up with a little invention that means you can travel with the boot practically empty.
If you fit most of your kit into two(or one even) sturdy bits of luggage, you can fit these easily onto the back parcel shelf. This on its own is highly dangerous as the slightest bit of hard braking will sling all this kit forward. However, you sling a good bit or rope/paracord between the two head rests with crosses heading diagonally down to the bottom of the seats and this stops the baggage from moving.
This is how I travel now and have modified it to use light weight karabinas so that the contraption can just sit under the drivers seat when not in use.
It leaves the boot completely free and removes all hassle of packing and re-packing everytime you want to put the lid on/ take it off.

Me. I go at 9:30 Thursday morning from Calais. So tommorow I have the day off to clean the car, polish, wax and check all the levels and tyres. Followed by the 3D jigsaw of fitting all the kit in. Then top up the fuel, put in the garage and go to the pub for a last Mixed Grill from the local Wetherspoons

(not a woman who needs 10 pairs of shoes for each occasion - thank goodness).
Taken the day off tomorrow to do the packing etc.
and of course a wash and polish.

It's Samsonite which I use. Seems almost custom made for TVRs.
Not packed anything yet.....need to go to sleep so that i can stay awake for the next 4 days, but last year left out a wateprroof jacket & it rained, this year will take a waterproof and no doubt it will be roasting, just need to make sure I have enough space in the car to get my mates gear in on Thursday morning when I pick him up at 5am!!!!!
Have a pile of stuff ready to go in " tents 2 chairs and two Bags of mine and passenger stuff and tool kit and water/oil etc.
I found that theres more than enough room in the Griff, But found if the roof is in the boot where it should be then Keep stuff in 2 or 3 bags and then if it rains you only have to pull them out rather than loads of little bags of stuff.
I plane to put the 2 tents and chairs in boot and passenger bags on parcel shelf attached to Roll bar for added security. Dont forget you can roll your towels and Sleeping bags in the fold down roof to help stop it creasing
