I just watched my second Cerbera in as many years drive away and for the record, i feel just as sick as the first time 
I sold it because i had to as we're emigrating and i couldn't take it with me. I bought it because i missed my first one so much! So a word from the wise, if you're considering selling and you don't need to.....DONT

Worst thing I ever did, selling my first Cerb. That's why I bought another. And as long as I don't suffer complete financial disaster or it has an episode out on the road, this one aint going anywhere!
Trouble is, I feel like that about my Wedge as well.

Must have had THAT pain a few times now!
Just had to pay a mahoosive bill for the Cerb to get head gasket replaced (fookin' engine in and out job
) that couldn't be hidden from SWMBO..... went down like a lead balloon (quote "that's more than we paid for the family holiday!" and other such guilt trips)....
.... then did something that I promised myself that I'd never do. I added up all of the bills for the Cerbera over the last 2.5 years...... and frightened myself silly. Not including insurance, tax or petrol, I've shelled out over £14K !!!!!
Here's hoping that now I can just drive the bloody thing and enjoy it (now it's got new clutch, gearbox, head gaskets, HID, shocks, handbrake, pre-oiler kit, remap, carpets, door seals, refurbed wheels, new tyres, brakes, fuel lines, various other bits and bobs and just had 12K service.....)
Was feeling quite down about it, wondering whether I should have just gone and bought the black XKR or (more obvious) 911............
..... then called into my local biker shop after picking up the car from RaceProved yesterday. All the bikers were genuinely interested in the car with loads of appreciative comments (wouldn't have had THAT with the Porker), ooohing and aaahhhing over the looks, I let one of the staff I'd known for years sit in it - he loved it. Told his boss that this member of staff was now on a 10 min coffee break, and took him round the block in it! He absolutely loved it, the neck snapping acceleration, the pops and bangs on the overun, the overall sensation and thrill of it - and this coming from "hardened biker" well used to superbikes! Back in the shop he was enthusiastically ranting about the Cerb - and how fast it was.
Moments like that that make to re-appraise just what we've got - a truely stunning British brutish car that doesn't alienate other people but draws absolute admiration and appreciation; is an absolute blast to drive; looks a million dollars; sounds fantastic and will outperform cars costing well over 4-5 times as much. Heh heh heh

I know how you feel, mines been gone about ten months three days and forty mins and I just hate it? Every time I am in the UK I keep hopeing to hear or see it, its like your first love you lose and keep hopeing she will come back one day??
