Splice joint 9a

where may i find this little bundle of fun.am i hot when i say panel off on drivers side front wheel arch?or am i miles away;)

Which joint is that and on which harness?

The Wiring Connector section of the WSM gives J8 and J9 as connector "Under door hinge recess" on the drivers side but says they are 12way and 3way respectively. The harness wiring diagram only goes up to splice 7 that I can see.

Multiway 3 (aka J32) is behind the rear seats, pin 15 (red/white) goes to the sidelamp signal from pin A3 of the Lights ECU in the boot above the fuel tank.

Instrument illumination comes from the instruments to pin 6 on J7 (above steering column) where it branches off to the dash switches on pin 1 of J6 (behind the dash panel), the other branch going to pin 15 of J32

I am fairly certain that section of harness runs down the car under the centre console rather than in the drivers wing.

What was the starting issue? If it was a poor feed to the solenoid they may well have been poking about under the scuttle panel above the passengers knees.

The old no start issue sometimes.they did a connection job behind helmet holder.wiring may have been disturbed then.This was the first time i have put lights on since then hmmmmn i wonder
