This just tried to eat me.. and now it's trying to steal my pint glass

I have no fire and no orbiting space craft with nukes.
I tried stamping on it but it just grabbed my foot.

I had one last year that wouldn't go under a pint glass!

I gave up trying to catch him, nicknamed him 'Dave' and left him as a pet. He's since moved out to a new place though, they grow up so fast
