I'm having trouble locating a gasket for the pipe joint (the one near the tanks) - it's triangular-ish and has three bolt holes.

Can anyone point me in the right directions?

I'm sure that it is a landrover or range rover gasket but the easiest way would be to take it to an exhaust fitting place and they will be able to match it up.

+1

Popped into a midas thing with the exhaust, and they gave one in the right size for free. Ok, had some work done with them in the past and think he was in charge of the shop and in a hurry....
