Driveshaft Will Not Go Into Diff

Really struggling here.

Trying to get the driveshaft back into the diff on the Insight and it is refusing to go in.

There doesn't appear to be any damage to any of the spliners & I've even tried removing the snap ring to see if that's causing the issue, but no joy.

Anybody think of anything I am missing?

Same shaft and diff ???? maybe some dammage on the shaft or internal splines or is there a master spline so it will only go in on one position??

What car, what diff ?

OF, all sorted, dressed the tips of the splines on the driveshaft & it eased in no troubles.
